My baby is 3 months old and I am not sure what type of bowel movements he should be having, he is breast fed exclusively. He can go 3 or 4 days without a movement and his stool is sticky when he does go, he is gaining weight - 7lbs 6oz at birth he now weighs close to 17lbs. I would appreciate any advice you can give me. Answer
A breast fed baby may have several motions in a day or one motion in several days. Till the child is gaining weight and does not pass hard stools, that is normal and one should not worry about it. Back to All Questions
