Question
My son is 7 years and 8 months old and until now have no loose tooth. Is this normal? Up to what age should baby teeth are expected to fall off? Thank you for your response.
Answer
The deciduous (baby) teeth usually begin to fall off any time between 6-7yrs of age
It is not unusual for some children to vary by about months to a year from
the normal.
However if you are very anxious, you could take him to pediatric dentist, or then have a full mouth radiograph taken , an OPG, which would give a complete picture of the teeth in mouth, and also those that are still
unerupted in the jaw bone. This would help ascertain any missing teeth.
