My 8 yr. Old daughter has what has been diagnosed as a conjunctivital lesion which is a rusty brown color. It started off as a small dot that was bluish-gray in color. When she had her eyes dilated. Within 24 hrs. It turned rusty color then slowly began to grow in size. The Dr. Has been measuring its growth and now wants us to see a specialist. What can be done?
Answer
This lesion could be a conjunctival bleed or a tumor. You need to see a pediatric ophthalmologist.
