4 yrs old boy from KSA has photophobia & red eyes x1mo associated with headache h/o raw milk ingestion remaining Hx unremarkable exam : photophobia mild eyes redness blurred disc. CNS JOINT SKIN UNREMARKABLE CT BRAIN WITH CONTAST :BRAIN N ENHANCING EYE GLOBES (SCLERITIS) ESR 28 ANA NEG BRUCELLA TITRE NEG
Answer
Rule out glaucoma and chronic iridocyclitis. Get an eye examination done. Also allergic conjunctivitis should be ruled out. If eye exam is normal, one may consider doing a CSF analysis to rule out meningitis especially cryptococcal. Back to All Questions
