Question
My son is six months (birth date: 16/08/04) old. Though he was born 5 weeks early, his birth wt was 2720 grams. But today he is only 5960 grams. He takes 120 ml formula milk - 5 times & two times solid but still his weight is falling the curve. Could you please advise me how my son can gain the weight? Thank you.
Answer
Your son's weight is fine for a 6 month old. One would need to know if he is losing weight. Babies tend to gain weight very rapidly in the fist few months and then slow down. A repeat weight check after 15 days would be useful to see if he is actually losing weight.
