Question
My daughter has head lice and I can not seem to get rid of it. I have used the nix shampoo and the rid shampoo and they have not worked. I remember a way with mayo but can not remember how for sure any help or suggestion would be appreciated.
Answer
There are various lice medications available such as permethrin, maladin etc. They are available in shampoo or oil based preparations. If the shampoo does not work, you can try applying the medicated oil on the scalp overnight and then washing the hair the next morning. If still does not work, the old fashioned way of nit picking may also work.
