Question
After a day of swimming and heat indexes of 110 degrees, my daughter had chest pain and a heart rate of 150... After an hour it was down to 120. The next day we are getting a resting heart rate from 100 to 125. Should we be concerned, or could the exercise, dehydration, etc possibly been the culprit? What would you advise?
Answer
What is the age of your daughter? One needs to correlate the heart rate with the age. You may take her sleeping pulse to see if it is high.
