Question
My daughter is 8 months old. I feed her solid food twice a day now(cereal, porridge, rusk or fruits). Ever since she starts to wean, I noticed her stool is dryer and harder than before (even though I feed her fruits and drinks lot of water). Is there anything thing wrong there? Should I just feed her 1 meal of solid food per day?
Answer
The change in consistency of stool may occur, if the food habits change has occurred in your child. Till the child is not having pain on passing stools and is otherwise not severely constipated, one need not worry about it.
