Question
Daily use of over-the-counter fish oil as a supplement. My child is 3 1/2 years old, normal health and no other special needs, or allergies. I think fish, fish oil, and other similar type products are generally healthy as a part of a normal diet for adults. Should fish oil be part of a child's daily diet? Can it's use be compared to "Pedisure", or other over-the-counter supplements? I think it's a bunch of B.S. Thanks
Answer
Fish oil is a very good source of Vitamin A and Vitamin D and rich in omega fatty acids and good for the heart. However it is high in Saturated Fat, and very high in Cholesterol.
