My daughter has a friend who just found out she has lice. The child is white and my daughter is black. The child is presently under medication. What is the possibility of this child infecting my child?
Answer
The chance of lice infestation would be the same as any other child, by sharing combs, putting heads together etc. Transmission of lice has nothing to do with the colour of the skin, race or creed.
