Answer |
Yes, peripheral vascular disease can be seen in young individuals in the form of Raynauds phenomenon. This presents as bluish discoloration of the hands and feet on exposure to cold assocaited with pain that changes to redness on warming the extremity. Intermittent claudication may also be seen in patients with atherosclerosis due to hyperlipidemias i.e. inherited fat abnormality.
