My 4.5 yr old son swalled a small silver
ball 6 days ago and hasnt had a bowel movement in 7 days.
Is it time to take him to his family doctor.

You should show him to the doctor as silver itself may cause some sort of erosion in the intestines. If your child is constipated since the past 7 days, he would require some sort of laxative or suppository to evacuate the stools. An Xray of the abdomen would also be useful to find where exactly is the ball located. |
