Question
I have two children (sisters) who have been diagnosed with Lamellar ichthyosis. We try to do basic care with these girls to keep their skin as normal as possible. What info do you have regarding basic skin care? Do you have in regard to this condition? Thank you.
Answer
Lamellar ichthyosis is a condition where skin cells have an increased turnover rate. Emollients and moisturizers should be applied to prevent drying of the skin after showering or bathing.
