My 14 month old son has quite a large lump on the right side of his neck.I have seen my gp who gave antibiotics which did nothing,he has now referred him to our local hospital, but gave no indication of what the lump is.It seems to have started to interfere with eating, but only hard foods,I'm very concerned. Hope you could give so light on this |

The lump could be due to a variety of causes: a lymph node that has enlarged, a thyroid swelling of may be a tumour. A biopsy of the swelling may be required to come to a diagnosis. |
