Question
My 4 year old daughter has 10 pimples that popped up yesterday to below her belly button and the rest on her right side and on her right upper arm. They truly look like pimples. Is there anything that I can do to prevent them or get them to go away? Thank you.
Answer
They may be small pustules or even mosquito bites. If they are red and raised with some kind of pus inside, you may need to give your child some oral antibiotic for 7-10 days. If, they are red but blanch on pressure, they would most likely be mosquito bites and would disappear on their own. Show them to your doctor so that he can prescribe the right treatment for your child.
