Foot & Mouth Disease.
Answer
Hand-foot-and-mouth disease (HFMD) is a viral illness characterized by oral ulcers and hand and foot lesions. It is commonly caused by the coxsackie virus and is seen commonly in infants and young children. It starts as low grade fever followed by oral ulcers and then lesions on hands and feet and buttocks that last for 5-10days. The disease has a mild course and the lesions heal spontaneously within 5-7 days.
