Answer
Protocol for birth asphyxia : Different NICU have different protocols for treatment of birth asphyxia. However, the general guidelines would be to keep the child empty stomach, watch for any renal failure in form of decreased urine output, treat any seizures that may develop and in general treat multisystem dysfunction. Early intervention in form of physiotherapy, speech therapy may be required.
