My son, 2 1/2, has been
diagnosed with tonsillitis and strep. He has been drooling
incredibly since we went to the doctor's office today. Could
this indicate something else, do I need to call the clinic?
maybe it's just teething, but he has already gotten his 2
year molars. It's quite a bit of drool, I don't want to overlook
it if it's something. thanks.

You need to rule out a condition such as epiglottis especially if along with drooling, he also has difficulty in breathing. Consult your pediatrician at the earliest as it could be life threatening. |
