| Question : |
My 2 month old baby boy had developed a lump behind his ear. I asked his doctor and he said it was a swallon lymph node from a infected hair follicle, and it would go away in a few weeks, but hasn't. Now a new one has formed on the back of his head. Any suggestion? |
Answer |
He needs to be evaluated for the lump. If it has not responded to antibiotics, infection seems unlikely. One would need to examine and feel the underlying bone. Get him evaluated by a skin specialist to rule out an osteolytic lesion. |
