Question
Hello, my son is two months old and during his check-up, the doctor checked his eyes. The doctor felt that it is necessary to make an appointment with an eye specialist because he thought he saw signs of leucorrhea (?) In his eyes what exactly is this and how concerned about it should I be?
Answer
It suggests a white eye. This could be due to cataracts or some opacity in the cornea. You need to verify it urgently with the ophthalmologist and if there is a cataract, then he would need urgent evaluation for diagnosis and treatment.
