Question
I have type o negative blood. I was told that if I had a partner that had o positive blood I would have a chance after having my first child to have miscarriages then on. Is that sure?
Answer
A mother with RH negative blood group if pregnant with a RH positive fetus may lead to Hemolytic disease of the newborn. This is seen in the 2nd pregnancy. This may lead to jaundice in the newborn.
