My daughter was diagnosed this morning by her doctor as having conjunctivitis. He prescribed Sulfacetamide 10% eye drops. How long is she contagious? I called and left a message at the doctors, but haven't heard back yet. I run a home-based daycare and I need to notify my parents of how long she's contagious after starting the medicine. Can you help? Thank you,

Conjunctivitis is contagious as soon as symptoms appear, as long as the symptoms persist and till there is a discharge from the eye.
