| Question : |
I am a 31 year old indian lady. I have lots of grey hair. My hair started greying almost 3 yrs back. At first I used to dye my hair. Some people advised me that dye will spread grey hair. So for the past one year I am using henna only. But my grey hair has increased a lot & so it appears to be orange in colour when I apply henna which I do not like.I have heard about hair colour like KOLESTON, LOREAL etc. Do these hair colour have any side effects?Plese advice. I am planning to have a second child too. Does the colouring of hair create any problem if i conceive? Please reply in detail. |
Answer |
Yes, any hair dye may have an adverse effect if your skin is sensitive to the chemicals used. Also there is no known association between colouring of hair and any adverse effect during pregnancy on the child. Try a home made remedy of soaking amla, aritha in an iron pot overnight and then straining that water and applying it overnight. Try it for 6-8 weeks. Make sure that this concotion does not go on the skin as it may colour the skin too.
