My 4 year old daughter was tested for a milk allergy. The test came back negative. When she has milk or products with milk in them she gets hives, puffy face, dark circles under her eyes and tends to be cranky. Have you heard of these signs when you are loctose intolerant?
Answer
Lactose intolernace usually presents with diarrhea. If your child has allergic reactions with milk, it could be due to other substances or even cow's milk or buffalo milk and not due to lactose. You may try giving her formula milk and see if the problem recurs or even try goats milk. Back to All Questions
