Have history of multiple fractures and sprains in hands & legs in my childhood, can u help me please...
Answer
Your blood potassium is low which could be leading to cramps and weakness. You need to take potassium supplements such as Pot Chlor 5ml twice a day to increase your potassium back to normal. Since you also have a history of multiple fractures in childhood, it would be worthwhile to get X rays of your knees (especially since you have excessive pains in the knees) to look for osteomalcia i.e. decrease calcium deposition in the bone. Since your serum calcium is normal, if your X rays show osteomalacia, you may need to take cholecalciferol i.e. Vitamin D3 supplements. You should be doing much better with these supplements.
