My daughter is 4 months old. She has developed a habit of sucking her index and middle finger almost throughout day and night. We blame ourselves for this as we are unable to find a lot of time caring her. Can a pacifier be of any help?
Answer
Sucking on the thumb or a pacifier may lead to protrusion of the teeth. Also sucking a pacifier may lead to putting an object that may have fallen into the soil, on the floor etc into the mouth that may lead to infection and diarrhea. Back to All Questions
