Question
I had my mmr vaccination 4 months ago. I just got my anti rubella test (igg & igm). The results were 3.16 IU/ml for anti rubella igm and 84 IU/ml for anti rubella igg. I’d like to ask you, am I safe for pregnant according to the results. And if not, what should I do know?
Answer
Your antirubella IgG is positive suggestive that you are immune to the disease with the vaccine giving protective titres. Since your vaccination was over more than 3 months ago, it is safe to conceive now. Show your results to your gynaecologist.
