Question
My daughter had her shots updated for kindergarten. Where she had her DPT it is now swollen, red, and hot. That was Friday; today Sunday (58 hours later) she is saying it hurts when she walks. What can I do other than cold rag and tylenol because I have done both and it has given her no relief.
Answer
If it is increasing in size, show a doctor as it could be due to an infection. Continue with cold compresses and tylenol in the meantime.
