Question
My daughter had surgery to repair her ureters due to reflux on 5th Jan 2005. Will she still experience pain during urination and clotting? The pain is in her vagina when she voids, not her incision. She hasn't had a fever or any other symptoms of any infection.
Answer
Since she has pain during micturation, one needs to rule out a urine infection. A urine culture would be useful. Since she is passing clots, make her drink lot of water to lessen the pain and also an ultrasound would be useful to rule out internal bleeding.
