HELLO, MY NAME IS TRACE,I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH KAWASAKIE`S DISEASE AT THE AGE OF 1.IT STARTED OUT AS A HIGH FEVER AND A RASH ALL OVER MY BODY. THE DOCTOR`S HAD NO IDEA WHAT IT WAS FOR WEEK`S. THEY GAVE ME A SPINAL TAP,EVENTUALLY I GOT OVER THE FEVER ON MY OWN. I WAS THE FIRST CASE OF KAWASAKIE`S DISEASE IN THE WESTERN U.S. I AM NOW 25 YEARS OLD,AND MY WHOLE LIFE I HAVE SUFFERED FROM THE FOLLOWING: SEVERE HEADACHES, INSOMNIA, ARTHRITIS,AND THE WORST PROBLEM OF ALL IS THE SCOLIOSIS, WICH I HAVE TAKEN LARGE QUANTITIES OF MORPHINE TO DEAL WITH THE PAIN. I ALSO HAVE TAKEN ANTIDEPRESSANT`S AND SEDATIVE`S FOR SLEEP THE LAST 15 YEARS. THE HIGH FEVER FROM THE KAWASAKIE`S COUSED A LITTLE BRAIN DAMAGE, I HAVE STRUGGLED LEARNING MY WHOLE LIFE. I LUCKED OUT AND HAVE A GOOD HEART,LIVER,KIDNEY`S, BUT I HAVE I.B.S. AND A OVERACTIVE THYROID. WHAT PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT KAWASAKIES`S DISEASE IS THAT IT CAN COUSE SCOLIOSIS. I WROTE THIS SO YOU COULD RECONIZE SYMPTOME`S AND KNOW LONG TERM EFFECTS.
