OUR NERVOUS SYSTEM
Our nervous system consists of a set of nerves that carry messages from the brain, our spinal cord (the thick bundle of nerves present in the spine) to and fro from the rest of the body. Apart from the 5 special senses of taste, smell, sight, hearing and touch, the nerves also carry sensation of pain, temperature (that is the way how you can differentiate hot and cold) and even vibration. Our nervous system is also responsible for the way we walk, the way we talk and also the way we think. If it were not for our nervous system we would only be a vegetable that can breathe.

So, next time you eat a pizza –think about how your nervous system functions and don’t you get nervous about it!
