High LDH & HBDH are seen in tumor proliferation. High GGTP is extremely valuable in determining infiltration of liver and is claimed to be superior to liver scan. Impaired values of Ca+, phosphorus and elevated alkaline phosphatase suggest metastatic bone involvement.
