an infant is vaccinated against BCG at birth but no scar appeared after 12 weeks. Should i repeat BCG or else intervention can be done_? Pls guide me.

Expert Answer :
Sometimes BCG scar may take a longer time. If it does not appear in next one month then repeat the BCG vaccine.

wait till 6 months of age..if absent till then....do mantoux if it comes negative..repeat bcg

not needed wait for some time or may be the procedure while giving BCG was wrong
some times there can be a late BCG scar called slow reaction
