Igm Enriched Immune Globulin


Indication :

  • Treatment of bacterial infections (concomitantly with antibiotics), especially in sepsis caused by gram-positive or gram-negative bacteria and their toxins in neonates and infants.

Dosing :

95% IgM enriched immune globulin (1 ml = 6 mg IgM).
IV infusion: 5 ml/kg daily on three con
Infusion rate: 1.7 ml/kg/hour.

Adverse Effect :

Pyrexia, chills, nausea, vomiting, flushing of face, headache, fatigue, malaise, sweating, back pain, anaphylaxis, hypotension, dyspnea and tightness of chest.


Hepatic Dose :

No dosage adjustments are recommended.
