Pediatric Oncall Journal publishes original clinical research of interest to pediatrics, both in hospital and community-based practice with emphasis on clinical pediatrics. Pediatric Oncall Journal is the official journal of Pediatric Oncall, an online portal with content and tools that help pediatricians and physicians in their daily practice with the objective of contributing to improving the health of people worldwide. To achieve this mission, the journal publishes a wide variety of editorials, review articles, original articles, case reports, viewer’s choice (letter to editor) and scientific correspondence with commentaries on papers in pediatrics. There are also publications such as Teaching Files (Grand Rounds) and Spot Diagnosis (IMAGE GALLERY) to help clinicians to deal with unusual cases in their clinical practice. The international, peer-reviewed papers cover a wide range of diseases in childhood.

If accepted for publication, all articles are generally published Online First and then again in a print/online issue.
Pediatric Oncall Journal print issue publication frequency is quarterly and publishes 4 issues per year.

The journal allows free access to its contents & does not charge for submission and processing of manuscripts.
All submissions are subject to peer review by the Editorial Board and reviewers. We consider for publication manuscripts from any part of the world.

Acceptance Criteria

Relevance to readers is of major importance in manuscript selection. Pediatric Oncall Journal will consider manuscripts in the following categories: reports of original research, particularly clinical research; review articles; and case reports. Generally, all papers will be reviewed by at least two outside consultants who are selected by the editors based on their expertise in the topic of the manuscript. The decision to publish is not based on the direction of results. Case reports are of interest only when they present a new entity or illustrate a major new aspect of a previously reported entity. If your manuscript is accepted, the editors reserve the right to determine whether it will be published in the print edition (which includes electronic publication) or only in the electronic edition of Pediatric Oncall Journal.
