Q. How often should COVID-19 PCR test be done in contacts of a patient suffering from COVID-19?
  • Only twice- once at screening and second at the end of quarantine period
  • It should be done routinely at baseline, then after 48-72 hours, then after one week
  • They should not be screened and only if they develop symptoms, they should be tested
