Nedocromil

Mechanism :

Nedocromil ophthalmic is used to treat ocular (eye) symptoms of allergic conditions, such as inflammation, itching, watering, and burning.


Indication :

  • Allergic Conjunctivitis

Contraindications :

Hypersensitivity


Dosing :

>3 years:
1-2 drops (2%) in each eye twice daily.
Precautions: Do not use while wearing contact lenses due to benzalkonium chloride preservative.

Adverse Effect :

Headache, ocular burning/stinging, ocular irritation, dysgeusia, nasal congestion, asthma, conjunctivitis, ocular erythema, photophobia, rhinitis.


Interaction :

Hepatic Dose :

No dosage adjustments are recommended.
