Factor X
Indication :
Dosing :
Do not exceed 60 IU/kg daily. 1 unit/kg will increase factor X levels by 2%.
>12 years:
25 units/kg IV every 24 hours till bleeding stops.
<12 years:
30 IU/kg IV.
Adverse Effect :
Headache, hypertension, flushing, fever, chills, vomiting, nausea, lethargy, or manifestations of allergic reactions.
Hepatic Dose :
No dosage adjustments are recommended.
