Q.With mucormycosis on the rise in post COVID-19 recovered patients, should these patients be screened for fungal infections at the time of active COVID-19 infection?
Yes, COVID-19 seems to be affecting the immunity too

The reason I chose first answer is that covid 19 affect mostly respiratory system so when this happens a person is at risk of any infection oof the lungs including fungal. therefore screening for fungal infection is a good idea
