Mechanism of action :
It is rapidly metabolised and converted to acetone which is excreted in urine and breath
Clinical Picture :
• abdominal pain
• gastritis
• vertigo
• headache
• lethargy
• ataxia
• haemmorhagic tracheobronchitis
• apnoea


Treatment :
• Gastric lavage
• Activated charcoal
• Haemodialysis`
