Japanese Enchephalitis Vaccines - Complications
Adverse reactions: usually mild and are similar that can happen after any vaccine. Pain, tenderness, redness, or swelling at the injected site associated with fever of transient nature can occur. Studies have shown that severe reactions to JE vaccine are extremely rare; if one were to occur, it would usually be within a few minutes to a few hours after the vaccination. Vaccine providers should always be aware and familiar with the vaccine related adverse reactions.
