0:20 #.1 Pediatric HIV - Natural History : In late 80s at Wadia Hospital - Fist started Seeing patients with AIDS.
What We Found:
-Mother to child transmission
-PEM, chronic diarrhea, opportunistic infections
-Most HIV positive children survive for 75-90 months.
0:57 #2 Progression of Disease
-Most Children are diagnosed at 4.5 years.
-Maximum Patients in WHO stage 3 or 4.
