What is the correct way of nebulization. Should we use the medicine with saline or only with that medicine?

medicine with normal saline make up up 5ml .that is minimum quantity to nebulization

Mix with normal saline if the total amount of medicine in the respule is less than 3 ml

it depends on the condition, for bronchiolitis saline or 3% nebulization can be given, a trial of beta 2 agonist such as salbutamol can be given and whether to continue will depend on response. for nasal congestion due to common cold saline nebulization alone is given

Depending if you use respule or nebulizing solution, Respules do not need to be diluted. Nebulising solutions need to be given in NS.
