Should we consider ATD, in 1 and a half-year-old child with 1-2 previous history of intermittent cough, cold, and wheezing with or without fever? The child has no persistent symptoms, no history of contact with TB, and his weight is 10 kg, But his MANTOUX TEST reads 15 mm. Chest X-ray is not suggestive of KOCHs.

If the Mantoux Test is done with 2 TU or 5 TU then yes. If it is done with 10 TU then NO.

no ATD needed. this sounds like Bronchitis

No should not start ATT as weight is appropriate for age no weight loss and not typical TB cough. No history of contact. Mantoux is not confirmatory test. Need more work up.

one should not start, we can do stool for Gene Xpert or do sputum induction for Gene Xpert.
