What is the criteria for administering Atropine and Neostigmine in a Cobra bite?

Cobra venom consists of a neurotoxin which is responsible for respiratory paralysis, simulating that associated with a non-depolarizing muscle relaxant. Hence, both Atropine and Neostigmine are added.

Cobra bite blocks nicotinic receptors, neostigmine inhibits cholinesterase, thus I creases Ach level in synapses, it competes with venom neurotoxin and prevents paralysis, while atropine is anticholinergic drug affecting only M receptors and is used to prevent muscarinic side effects of neostigmine
