How common is renal tubular acidosis a cause of short stature in Indian children?

As per a study in J Paediatr Child Health. 1998:571-6, RTA accounts for 10.4 percent of all causes of short stature.

An uncommon cause for short stature.chronic acidosis and calcium loss from the bones all lead to growth retardation and short stature.
