How safe is acebrophylline in children? What is the dosage and its side effects?

It is not recommended for children. It’s usually available as a 100 mg capsule. The usual recommended dose of acebrophylline is one
capsule twice daily. Commonly reported adverse effects with acebrophylline include abdominal discomfort, stomachperbdominal distension, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, heartburn, loss of appetite, esophageal bleeding, rashes, urticaria, itching, drowsiness, difficulty in breathing, leukocytosis, and nasal inflammation.
