A 7-year-old girl came to the hospital in status epilepticus (convulsion for 1 hr). She had a fever for 15 days, and her Widal was positive. platelet 34000. ps for mp neg, dengue neg. On examination, she had hepatosplenomegaly. The patient died within 30 minutes despite being given O2 and an anticonvulsant. What could be the cause of death?

Sepsis related to typhoidal infection, intracranial bleeding from low platelets, can cause status epilepticus, and increased ICP can lead to death rapidly by coning.
