Buclizine is being promoted as an appetite stimulant. Is this approved and safe for pediatric use? Which is the best appetite stimulant available?

It is not recommended in children as yet.
Cyproheptadine
has been used in children with cystic fibrosis to improve appetite.

Never used any appetite stimulant yet and I don't think any drug is approved for the purpose so far.

I would suggest timely vit A prophylaxis helps in this issue . because most of the under 5 population are at deficiency risk .
