i have a neonate with thick ear discharge , not feeding well. hopw long of systemic antibiotics required_?. should i do a LP

if symptoms continue or get worse, systemic antibiotics are required for 10 days, lumbar puncture only if necessary,ear tube surgery can treat chronic ear infections,

full sepsis work up including Lp for sure
start ampi genta pending blood cx

Ear discharge will stop on using nasal drops, no need for a LP.
